Friends and family of Team Dealer, it is hard to believe that it has been a month since our last update.
It has been a very busy month but we have not lost sight of all the support we get from home.
From all of us, we want to wish you a safe and happy holiday season.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you each and every day as we sprint to the finish line of this deployment.

We started off the month on a very positive note by promoting 1LT Joey Cederstrom and awarding
some Combat Action Badges (CABs). The Combat Action Badge is awarded for direct action
while engaged with enemy forces. Major Fath, the Battalion Executive Officer and acting
Battalion Commander was on hand for the promotion, to award the badges and congratulate the
Soldiers for another job well done.

We are very fortunate to have several of America’s best decide to stay Army in the month of December.
We are very grateful to SSG Avery from B Co, SPC Lagle from HHC, CPL Mathis
and SPC Ramirez from E FSC, SSG Rodriguez, SSG Rudnick and SPC(P) Barraza who all
chose to continue their service to our Nation. We also promoted one Soldier during the month of
December, SPC Knox. In the midst of college bowl season and the start of the NFL playoffs, morale is high
and friendly rivalries start to come alive. With several TVs and the Armed Forces Network (AFN)
TM Dealer Soldiers have the opportunity to cheer on their favorite team.

1SG Hignight follows the old Army adage of “always improve your fighting position” by making
some much needed improvements to our home away from home, JSS Risalah. Our JSS
houses one of the better gyms in the area and it is always full of our Soldiers getting their “swole” on.
Just a few more months left for them to sculpt their bodies in preparation for the trip home.
This is another month down and another closer to family and
friends. Thank you for all of your continued support and prayers.
We couldn’t do it with you. God bless you and our fine Soldiers,
CPT Brandon Chapman –

Killer 6

Killer 7

Happy Holidays families and friends,
The Killers are still here in Iraq fighting the good fight through the Holiday Season.
Everywhere I look Soldiers are finding ways to bring a touch of the Holidays to FOB Falcon.
There are small Christmas trees and stockings being hung all over. The dining facility is decorated with festive
Santa Clauses and reindeer. If SGT Ruck, from Devil Platoon, had it his way there would be a
plastic Santa pulled by reindeer on top of the Buffalo as we drove down the road, images from
National Lampoons Christmas vacation flash through my head and I just can’t allow it.

The good news is our patrols are slow and boring. The Raider BDE is doing a great job
keeping the bad guys on the run and afraid to come into our area. Hopefully here soon
we will hand over a secure safe area to the CAV to take control of. Until then the Killers
will stay on patrol keeping the roads safe for travel. Just to add a little excitement into our lives
the company has been focusing on a construction project at the Old Kuwait Embassy
where the 2-1 NP Mech now has their headquarters. The Ministry of Interior, who control
the National Police, are not as developed as the other ministries. This has a direct impact on funding
for their living conditions, or lack of conditions in their case. At LTC Hill’s request the company
is rolling out our “Tonka Toys” to improve the facility for the Policemen who live there.
We have been able to knock down over 200 meters of HESCOs, smooth out the dirt piles, and redesign their ECP.
Hopefully the improved look gives the Policemen living there a greater since of pride and lifts their sprits.
Each platoon has had a specific task to complete in order to complete the project.
It’s not glamour’s and it’s a lot of dirty work, but hopefully this shows our allies, the ISF,
that we are here to help and support them and win over a few more hearts and minds.

-------------------

To celebrate the Holidays the Killers are cooking up a BBQ on Christmas Eve. It will be a good chance
to bring the company together to sit down and eat, just like a big family. SGT Smith and
PVT Erikson have coordinated with the Chow Hall to get us the food and meat we need
to cook up some good times. I’ll be on leave for most of next month. I’ll be leaving the company
in the capable hands of my XO, CPT Chychota, and 1SG Sparger. I have complete faith and confidence in them
to keep the company steady and true on our course through Iraq. Between him and the 1SG I’ll probably come back
to the company in better condition than when I left it. I’ll be sure to toast my beer to them on the beach in Mexico.

The Killers extend out a round of applause to my operations sergeant, SFC Tate, who was promoted
on the first of the month. He looks good with the extra rocker on. SPC Marshal of Psycho Platoon and
SPC Neatherly of Devil Platoon were also pinned this month increasing the weight of responsibilities
the platoons place on them. We also congratulated SPC Rupp who re-enlisted for another 6 years this month.
He’ll be heading to FT Irwin after our stabilization process is complete at FT Hood.
From all of us here in Killer Company we wish you all Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year.
Until next month…ESSAYONS!!!

Eliminator 7

Greetings from Baghdad, Iraq! We are nearing the end of the deployment and I want you all
to know that your Soldiers are still going strong! Christmas and New Years are right around the
corner and though your loved ones are here doing great things for their country, morale is high
and the mission is getting accomplished. We all understand the sacrifice and hardships that you
go through on a daily basis but I ask you to remain strong and know that your loved ones will be
home with you soon. Complacency is not an issue as the leadership continues to do everything
in its power to ensure standards are being upheld. We want to ensure that the happy reunion between
you and your significant others becomes a reality. Merry Christmas to all! Happy New Year!
Enjoy the holidays and may God Bless!

Eliminator 17(SFC Jones) sends:

It’s hard to believe that about 3 months ago the temperature was well into the 100’s. However, now
it’s cold outside! A welcome change to the searing heat however.
The Soldiers of Headquarters platoon are moving right along without missing a stride. The cooks continue
to provide high-quality meals to Task Force Soldiers staged at forward Joint Security Stations.
The supply clerks continue to make things happen by ordering and processing much needed supplies
for the company and the Task Force. Everyone has a solid sense of what needs to be done.
Of course, it is tough being away from loved ones but the camaraderie between the Soldiers
serves to boost morale.

The Headquarters platoon is moving right along. SGT Phipps makes it happen by processing leave packets,
NCOER’s, and other administrative issues for the Eliminators to ensure everyone is being taken care of.
SPC Vanross does her daily supply runs to the Supply Support Activity to ensure
the company receives all of the items it needs to sustain itself. These are just a few examples of
the daily activities taking place. Everyone is an important piece to the overall picture.
Well that’s it for now. Stay safe during the holidays and Merry Christmas!

Eliminator 36 (1LT Leever) sends:

Business as usual! The mechanics of the mighty maintenance platoon are making it happen.
We keep the Task Force rolling by fixing and maintaining. The Soldiers take great pride in
what they do and it definitely shows by the high-quality work they achieve. Our Soldiers are
staying motivated by working out and signing up for athletic events at the Morale Welfare
and Recreation center in their free time. We’ve had a large number of Soldiers re-enlist this month
to continue doing great things in the Army.

The Combat Repair Teams (CRT’s) out in sector continue to do great things. SFC Tumey and
SSG Demont of Charlie CRT were recently re-enlisted by the Division Commanding General
(MG Jeffrey Hammond). These two outstanding Soldiers along with the other CRT’s attached to their
respective companies are the backbone of the Task Force. They ensure “the tools of the trade”
are functioning at peak performance. Thanks for reading and Happy Holidays!

Eliminator 27(SFC Garcia) sends:

DISTRO Platoon continues to boost morale in Area of Operations (AO) “Regulars” by sending
steady streams of much needed supplies, meals, and most importantly mail to the Soldiers staged forward.
Our Soldiers take great pride in what we do and we do it well. December has been a busy month
as we have provided additional supplies and materials to our sister companies during a period of reshuffling
around the AO. As we continue to provide unparalleled support to the Task Force, we take time to stay in
shape by working out at the gym and participating in sporting events here on the FOB.
The DISTRO Soldiers are making the big plays and getting the job done! We want to wish everyone
back home a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We love and miss everyone back home and
hope you all keep us in your prayers

FINAL THOUGHTS
Riddle of the Month:
What is greater than God, hotter than the sun, and if you eat it, you’ll die?
Answer in next month’s issue
Last month’s riddle:
What gets wetter and wetter the more it dries?

Leadership Quote of the Month:
“In no other profession are the penalties for employing untrained personnel so appalling or so irrevocable as in the military.” --
GEN Douglas McArthur
As always, please continue to pray for us and show your support and we will do the same.
“SAME TEAM, SAME FIGHT”…..Eliminator 6 out!
