Private Milton L. Hubbard

 

 

 

Milton Lee Hubbard was born in Magnolia, Pike County, Mississippi, on October12, 1905.

The date of his entry into the Army could not be found. He was assigned to
Company B 22nd Infantry at Fort McPherson, Georgia on January 24, 1927.

On July 18, 1927 he was transferred to Headquarters Company 22nd Infantry.

He was discharged from the Army on February 11, 1928.

Sitting third from the left marked in the photo as "35" is the Company First Sergeant, Harry W. Stacey.
Note the leather holster for his M1911 Colt .45 auto pistol on his right hip.

 

 

Corporal in middle row 3rd from the left marked in the photo as "40" has service stripes on his lower left sleeve to indicate
he has 24 years of service.

He is buried in Carolina Memorial Park , Concord, Cabarrus County, North Carolina.
