"If we do anything
right at our reunion this is it. To the veterans, families,
friends, and loved ones
who do not attend our meetings, rest assured that the person you
lost in Vietnam is not forgotten.
Speaking for me personally, when a candle is lit I have little
flash backs in memory of that person.
It is a solemn occaision but brings an inner peace to me.
We end our official reunion with the ceremony.
Thanks, Charlie Shyab for starting the tradition at the
Washington D.C. meeting."
