4th Battalion 42nd Artillery
William Koontz Battery C 4/42 Artillery 1967-1968
Time for some Church.
Pray for Peace.
This is some elephant grass.
My sleeping quarters. I hope it don't rain tonight.
We dug these bunkers
every time we stopped for the night.
We cut logs and laid them over the hole then put sandbags over
logs.
Heading for the river.
Mike, you need a bath anyhow.
Keep that powder dry.
Some captured bolt
actions. Second rifle from the right is a French MAS-36 rifle.
Other four rifles are US Model 1903 Springfields.
I was not too fond of crossing open areas.
This kind of looks like the I Drang valley.
Scout dog and handler.
Two scout dogs.
