1st Battalion 22nd Infantry

Blue Star Service Banner

The Blue Star Service Banner is a tradition begun during
World War One.

The Banner is hung in the front window of the house,
and each blue star signifies a member of the family
serving in the United States Military Forces during wartime,
or otherwise engaged in action against a hostile enemy.

We at 1st Battalion 22nd Infantry Website
feel the Battalion is part of our family,
and as such, we will post the Blue Star Banner
on the Website Home Page, until such time as all members
of 1st Battalion are back home among their loved ones.

Regulars, By God
